Default Need Help w/Part ID

A friend of mine sent me these pics of an air cleaner he bought years ago from the Chevy dealer he works at. Even though he's the parts manager, he cannot ID this thing from old parts manuals which leads him to beleive this is not a Chevy part (I thought it may have been for a Corvette but he tells me its not according to the parts manual). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Paul

Paul,My thru 75 Pontiac book says that air cleaner fits
F/8 400 4BC exc. Ram Air or A.I.R.
T/8 400 4BC exc. H.O. or Ram Air or A.I.R.
P/8 428 4BC. 2plus2 exc. H.O. & A.I.R.
Which I tranlate into F/8=Firebird,T/8=Tempest,and P/8=Catalina or Bonneville. I could be wrong so correct me if I'm wrong.
I hope this helps.
Kendall

I have never seen one of those air cleaners on a Firebird, but have seen many on 64-65-66 GTO's.
