New car titles?

Has anybody tried to get a new or reissued title for a car that didn't have one? Isn't there a title company in Alabama that does this? Jim M. discussed the importance of this issue at SCR9 & I need to get a couple done.

Not that I'd want to get one for a car that isn't mine, isn't here or doesn't exist...but it's easy to do here in Ontario Canada for any Ontario licenced individual. .

Remember the post of the 5 ZL1's that someone here has registered recently...wonder what's happened/is happening there? .
