I bought a identical sign on Ebay earlier this year that was in identical condition. I mean identical. The can looked old but when it got here it looked like someone tried to make it look old. It is like someone found some of the old porcelain signs, made new cans and tried to age the cans to look old. Neat sign but I don't believe it started life as a neon sign.

..that's very possible....
...I noticed that the interior photo of the sign does not look like the back side of the porcelain sign has aged as much as the metal can....

At $5300.00 I would not "get tired of tripping over it" Would look great in the garage over that clone LS6 with aged docs-

At $5300 and counting, I think the seller can afford to ignore any questions and count his profit and, at $5300 and counting, sign cloners are undoubtedly hard at work on more eBay specials. Can cloned race-shop refridgerators be far behind?
