I called them last week trying to get a 69Z delivered that I just bought and they were horrible. I'm sorry I never bash but they were awful.

I shipped 4 cars from VA to AZ several months ago - DAS (dependable auto shippers) . They were fantastic...load in va and unload in AZ. Very professional driver, cared alot about protecting the cars and careful loading. He did so well with great care, i wrote a letter.....not the cheapest, but i could have been happier. I believe they only have a few enclosed trailers. They have alot of the open trailers but i wanted enclosed all the way with no drop offs. They did have the contract for Harley Davidson until a while back from what i understand.

Okay...waiting for Gags take on DAS...

I used Intercity...were great AFTER they picked up the car...ended up having to email the owner Dave because I got the run around during scheduling (and they already had my money). Once I got in touch with Dave...it all happened quickly.

Fred Koller Concours transport has also transported my car...no complaints there either!

I've had very good service from Fed-ex Passport on several occasions. Go figure. I ordered the service via the website, someone called a few hours later to confirm, and everything went smoothly. I have also had good service from Intercity and Road Scholar.

Service at FedEx has gotten spotty lately - and I asked the last driver why. According to him, it is because FedEx's car shipping business has grown so fast that they have had to aquire a number of small carriers to keep up with the demand, and several of the aquisitions have been a little suspect. He was a long time car carrier, so I suspect he knew what he was talking about.
