Default Buried 57 Plymouth to be opened in June 2007

I was sent this link by a friend. I'd love to be there when they pull it out of it's tomb.

Love this statement,
...the Plymouth was chosen because it was "an advanced product of American industrial ingenuity with the kind of lasting appeal that will still be in style 50 years from now."

Makes me wonder whatever happened to that entombed '53-55 'Vette...I think it was a '54 and wasn't it a 50 year deal too so would be out by now? .

Any other known cars entombed when new? .

I suppose Geraldo Rivera will be there providing news coverage.

well, a very misguided individual entombed a five year old motorless pinto in the river down the street from my house one night. It briefly floated out far enough to disappear completely after it filled with water. Neighbors called Police, they waived their flashlights around and proclaimed
"we would see it if it were there".
