Default Gerald Ford...

Our 38th president passed away yesterday...he was a good man who helped our nation through a difficult time.

A lot of us Canadians liked Gerry Ford too. .
He was a good Christian man that's never received the respect he really deserved...as often's the case, perhaps now that he's gone things may finally change in that regard? .

I'll never forget the time, while playing in a golf tourney, he sprayed one into the Gallery and beaned some woman. She survived and voted Republican ever since.....

May he Rest In Peace........

Been an interesting week, first James Brown then Gerald Ford....wonder who's next.

Thank You Gerald Ford for your service to our country

Saddam is supposed to swing in the next 30 days after yesterday's court ruling! .
Sadly, considering the way things would go with retaliation, he'll probably be spared for a while longer? .
If the soldier that found him in his little burrow had grown up on a farm and had experience dealing with gophers...things could've been dealt with a whole lot more simply?! .

I knew yesterday's foolish Ford ideas were wrong from the start...if in some freakish way they resulted in last night's terrible circumstances, I offer not only the Ford family my apologies, but the nation itself? .

PS - Joking aside, I believe I'm thinking much clearer today? . Like bad gas, the Ford thoughts seem to have passed through my system...if they return I'll get an appointment made to see the Doc? .

Things are already starting to get busy in Grand Rapids. They are closing streets, barricades and cones everywhere.Should be quite a show at the Gerald R. Ford airport with all of the big wheels coming in.Supposed to be here Tuesday for the funeral on Wednesday. They closed his museum with only the lobby open to visitors.GR has been playing this scenerio for a few years now so they are not looking like fools in front of the nation.Hope all goes well.Mr.Ford was always a great ambassador for GR and Michigan. He will be sadly missed by many.
