Need some information from Nickey!

I bought a set of 090 C5R heads from a member here, I'm almost positive it was Nickey, who had raced with Lamar Walden years ago. The heads are everything you said.....absolutely incredible! They made huge power.

I need to know (maybe somebody else may know too) if those heads were shipped with the freeze plugs installed. For that matter are heads in general, C5R or otherwise when sold seperate from the engine, shipped bare or with the freeze plugs installed?

Thanks, that narrows it down a bit. I was thinking this guy, former racer, was now out in the SW somewhere. He went by Blue ---- something?? I have not seen him post here in quiet some time and I didn't keep the PM's.

Anybody ever bought a set of C5R heads? Any other GM heads?

Nickey - when you sell bare heads do you know if the freeze plugs come pre-installed??

OK. I'll settle for a 'seems to me I saw a set of C5R heads that did/did not (pick one) have the freeze plugs installed'.

Or a slightly informed guess.
