its funny that "COPO" isnt mentioned in the ad. I thought all 375hp 68 nova's were COPO's?

Only the turbo 400 375 68 novas are copos. The April production is to early for a copo. No photo of big block core support. Probably a small block car originally. Earl

My. this gentleman claims to have, and to have seen, original L89 novas. I'd invite him to help prove they are the real deal. I keep hopeing, but show up some convincing proof.

from the horse's (sellers) mouth when asked about this;
Response from no8chevy "Hi,I have had many muscle cars and I am aware of all the COPO cars.At the time I purchased this car which was at least nine years ago,it was bought with the promise of getting the paperwork etc..It never happended.The man who bought it new bought it right outside Kansas City.It has all the exact build and right dates of the 50 cars sent to Fredd Gibb Chevrolet.They were all built near the end of march and ended last week of APRIL.I have done tons of research on this car it has never been apart inside,I am going to look for a build sheet.It doesn't look like it in pictures but the inside is like a time capsule ,needs haedliner,the carpet and original GM floormats are hardly worn,I have new foam for seats etc.It is dusty and dirty.The boy and girl I bought it from were into imports and it had been in a covered garage forgot about for years.In the seventies the guys dad had set the motor out due to gas shortage .Somwhere along the line he traded off the alluminum heads,he said he set a 307 or 327 in but never hooked it up.He said when he bought it he especially wanted the 396 and this was on a lot already with the #842's and the 400 turbo in the floor,if you have read up on the COPO cars they were all ordered as an expermintal with the 400 turbo,plain jane to go to Fredd Gibb Chevrolet where Dickie Harrell tuned and changed 12 of them to 427 cars the rest were beefed up or as I have researched and talked to a guy who had one Matt Murphy. Anything you want could be done to them he saw one that actually had side pipes and tripower like the 60's vette.He restored his and then gave it back to Fredd Gibb or Dickie Harrell's wife because it was #50 .He looked at this car and we both agreed it was truly a BIG BLOCK car,the only thing was the color .There were only 4 different colors and white wasn't one. When I asked about the disc brakes he said they were on certain cars because the 50 he ordered he just took what ever Chevrolet would send him.Anyway It is a true BB L89 car" |

The Gibb cars were built in 7A & 7B only. I don't think there was any march built BB nova's. This guy is not even close on most of his statments. WOW
