The front clip will be put on next week and that should just about wrap up this project. Thanks everyone for
the help along the way, you are greatly appreciated!

Awesome! That car doesn't have blue standard interior by chance?

Now that is a REAL nice car! I love the correct coil bracket and harmonic balancer. They are tough items to find. Real nice!

Joe, yes it does. The interior is mint and all original in fact. Lucky for me because you can spot repo seat covers a mile away.

Cool...The reason I'm asking is I'm thinking it might be my dad's old 69 Z...we sold it a couple years ago... at that time it had black stripes, no console, and a center mounted fuel gauge, and nice original blue standard seats and door panels. I always wondered what ever happened to it, and if i'd ever see it again... could it be the same car?

Joe, unfortunately it's not the same car. My dad bought this Z in 1986 and has owned it ever since. Since the car has no paperwork (It is X33 coded and it does has all of it's original drive train, however), I would love to uncover some owner history. Gotta love the blue on blue cars though!

Oh well, was worth a shot...Funny because my dad bought his in 1986 too! You usually see the Lemans Blue cars with black guts, and the blue standard looks way better IMO...at least if its got original interior. Car looks great btw!

Car looks terrific Tommy. Hard to beat a Blue 69Z. Was this the car we did the decals for?
