All,
I am looking at a pair of nice quarter panels out west that were cut from a car all the way from the door jamb, across part of the roof, and into 12" of the trunk floor. So they are considerably larger than your typical repop quarter panels. Have any of you shipped something this big, and how? Thanks for the help, Tony |

no problem, put them on a pallet standing up tied together and frame around them, and ship with these guys, I have shipped motors all over the country and a motorcycle, when I did the bike I paid a guy up the road from the shipper that builds pallets for shipping it was about $120 for a turn key nice pallet, you may do the same, I cant find pics just imagine a nice pallet narrow and long then the framed cage drops over the top and bolts down solid, something similiar would be good for quarters

I have used these guys to ship motors and it worked out great every time. You will need to go to their website to see if they ship out and receive at airports close to you and the seller. You will need to drop off and pick up at their airport depots.

when your building freight, or shipping anything for that matter remember this:
Fragile, and do not bend mean nothing this side up, means even less pack, pack again, and secure your freight so that it can be tumbled every which way because it probably will by the monkey driving the forklift. |
