Alan, i thought they did originally but i was told twice after that they were different. Id guess 68 thru 72 chevelle are the same and 68 thru 72 elky are the same, but i dont think they interchange between the different models.i could be wrong though.

The Elky ones are different than the Chevelles.....

If I recall correctly, at least on the manual regulators, the appearance is identical but the spring tension is different. Since the 69 window is larger it weighs more and thus requires more spring tension to raise it. The same concept probably applies for power windows, but instead of a stronger spring you have a stronger motor in a 69 unit.

I've got a set of pw regulators that are supposed to be off a 69 Chevelle and the door regulators are different than the one in your post. The regulator that I have has an extra arm between the gear and the main arm. The main arm on the ones I have measure 22" from tip of the roller to the opposite end.

Thanks woj, thats exactly what i needed to know. The regulator i posted was with a 69 elky,and should be different than a chevelle but i wasnt sure.
