Definitley 3192477 both dated 349 69(70 model year) I know my car is an original F41 (has the original rear sway bar)and the F41 suspension option in 70 (nova) got it's own shock. I believe this is the p/n for that option. Any help is appreciated

Not sure what you have there, are they front or rears?

Several Deuces have been found with their original F41 front shocks, and the part numbers have all been: 3192481.

They are the fronts, my 70 car was off the road untouched since 76 and these were in it, both the same p/n and date code. Car has the rear bar and 15/16 front bar. I have to assume these were the original shocks. I have been told that all the shocks and springs were "computer chosen" according to options etc. My car also had 4 leaf multis in the back, again, appearing to bu untouched. I would have to figure that the F41 shock for a BB would be different than the F41 for the small block/Deuce.?

Don't know about the SB vs BB thing, but I would have expected your F41 car to have the 5 leaf springs. All Deuces have the 5 leafs. I was under the impression that only the springs were computer selected, and the shocks were standard F41 items. Let us know what else you find.

Ask WilmasBoyL78 to check what his Black 1970 L78,(Dave S.),Sirvivor Nova is wearing.
I took the #2977 front spiral off a 1971 L-48 Nova..

Correct me if I am wrong guys, but 3192477 would have also been the correct part number for '67 through '69 Z/28 front shocks. Tex T.
