Default New V8 RWD Impala

Oshawa was going to be building the the new rear wheel drive Impala. Sounds now like the plans are going to be shelved due to new gas mileage standards coming into effect. The rwd Cadillac and Buicks are being switched to Lansing. It will take more than the Camaro to keep the plant running. Could be a ploy as GM is after government money for St. Catharines on top of the $435 million they are getting for Oshawa. With GM spending something like $2billion in Oshawa, it's hard to imagine them walking away any time soon. Contract talks in Oshawa this year as well. GM will be playing hard ball all the way. They sure know how to keep everyone guessing.
