68 SS L79 Nova Engine Barn Find!

I was going thru some parts yesterday and discovered a 3914678 short block dated Nov. 28, 1967 with a Nova VIN #18B144158 V1206EP. What would be a fair price to offer the guy. The short block has been disassembled and two rod bearings were spun but the engine was shut off right away and never locked up...it is definitely rebuildable and is still standard bore. The pistons have GM P/N 3866954.
