Default QUESTION ABOUT HARRISON RADIATOR COLOR

What would be the correct shade of black on a 1970 Harrison Radiator for a Big Block Chevy- Nova car????

I believe that all harrison radiators back in the day were gloss black.

Eastwoods sells the 85% gloss black for radiators that they claim is correct, not really sure on that claim. The bigger point is to use the right paint, one retains heat and the other doesn't, I believe it's lacquer that shouldn't be used.
