Default ANYBODY MISSING A 69 L89 MOTOR? TO841LP

I tried this a couple of weeks ago and it worked out well. Found the owner to the LS6 motor, just a few miles away. Talking out loud to myself last night while I was in my barn, tripped over an L89, GOD knows how long I have had it. I thought I would try again. The engine is a 69 Corvette L89 Tripower. It's complete from air cleaner to oil pan. I purchased it from a guy who had it in his 70 Nova. He suposedly got it from the original owner, who built a race car and pulled the motor out. This is only by memory and it happened along time ago. The Tonawanda number is TO841LP. The vin number is 19570332* I have left the last digit off and I can't tell you if it is a hardtop or convertible Vette. If somebody give me the begining parts of the vin, I will try running it with the NCIB. Like I did with the LS6 motor. Thanks for all your help. I don't think that the owner of the LS6 Chevelle worked a deal with the current owner of the motor, if anybody had any interest.

I figured the vin was actually a '19S...' not a '195...'

I think 'S' is the St. Louis plant - corvette production only??

Our former 69 Impala convertible was produced at St. Louis assembly plant.....had the 'S' in the VIN also. But obviously there were no factory L89's in a full size car, so it has to be for a Corvette.
