70 TH400 SPEEDO GEAR HELP
Does anyone have a reference which can identify the following
ACDelco GM# 1362196 GR 4.337 LC37 This is supposed to be the right gear for a 1970 3.73 can anyone confirm this. Thanks

Should be purple with 43 teeth.
Used on alot of vehicles before then,but for 1970: *1970 Camaro w/TH400 w/3:55 & F70X15 tires. *1970 Chevelle & Impala series w/TH400 w/3:31 & G78X14 & H78X14 respectively. The 1970 3:73 TH400 Camaro used #1359273 which was brown with 39 teeth used w/F60X15 tires.

Its purple, I did not count the teeth, its in the bag unopened.
Sounds like the wrong one for the 3.73.. Thanks again for the help Rick

The gears are still available through your local Chevy dealers. I bought some a few months ago at about $6 each.
