Default 1973 SD Trans Am with 1774 miles

This is a car to torture NJ Steve with. Not my car but I got it for another member here. A real 73 SD with 1700 orig. documented miles. The history as I know it for now. It was either sold to or won by a PGA golfer named John H McGeary Jr from Boca Raton Florida. The dealership it came from was jack Nicklaus Pontiac in Delray Beach. Then in 1985 he donated it to the Benjamin School of North Palm Beach. If you look up the school it has Jack Nicklaus as a trustee. On the bill of sale it lists the license plate as "Farbird". Then it looks like it gets sold to PGA pro golfer Bruce Lietzke and miles on Oklahoma inspection sticker show 01402. Then I'm told Bruce trades another PGA golfer Gil Morgan a 67 435 hp Vette roadster for it in July of 1985. Gil has owned it up till now. Mike McCollough from Worldwide Musclecars has been storing it for Gil since 2001 inside his shop. I know Gil and Bruce are PGA Golfers, just not sure about John. It runs like a new car and still has the window sticker stuck to the window. What a great car.

Any indication of the build sequence number?

I see what appears to be an upside down "79" on the frame rail.

Does the number "79" appear anywhere else? (Inside the spare wheel, on the rear axle, hood, rad supt, etc).

Charley you get two for the price of one... I feel tortured as well !
That car is not only beautiful , it is a beautiful example of one of my favorite body's of all time.
I just found the owners of my old T/A and sent them a letter with photos a month ago introducing myself and they never responded to me I may have been happy with this as a replacement
