Default Hey Charley-Your LS-6

I Just saw your Ebay auction #1834674668 for this 1970 LS-6 Black Chevelle.
Can you tell me where you got it and how long you've had it?
What happened to the VIN# on the block?
Did you do it?
Is the VIN# present on the trans.?
Is the rear the Original?
How does it drive?
Every detail is appreciated.
The selling Dealer,Ed Fanning Chevrolet in Aurora,is a name I haven't heard of in awhile.I knew him personally too.

Hey Mr70..I got it last year from Al Young when I bought the 67 Pace car. Al bought it in either 81 or 84, he can't quite remember. His Mechanic decked the block when he asked Al if he could rebuild the engine to make it run really good. Yes it has the orig. trans with the vin and the orig rear. The paint has been on the car since before Al bought it except for where the holes on the bottom of the fenders were repaired. There was a Thread on this site where I had posted a pic of a build sheet glued to the back of the front fender. There is still another Build sheet in the rear seat. When I did the fender repair I replaced the inner fenders as they had been cut on for different exhaust. It runs and drives great as most Chevelles seem to do. I wish Camaro's had a full frame. There is a Sun Tach mounted in the dash along with temp and oil pressure. I will try to post pics. The car is still Titled to Dan Young Chevrolet.
