As far as CA L-78's...I'd have to check my library....Most of my research has been US 66 and 67 SS Chevelles. Let ya know if I come across it...but what's the story on this MISTER CHEVELLE??? Hi Mike
Precisely I begin the research on the history of this Chevelle. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ ![]() The picture was taken in 1967 in Quebec area. In 1967 this Chevelle racing at Napierville Dragway and Pont Rouge Dragway and the old Mascouche track and other track in Ontario. The racing wheels is not popular in 1966 ,this two Chevelle run with rim. Nice picture......
Some stock classes required steel wheels but they changed this I guess to get ad money from the wheel manufactures. |

To now answer your very first question:
NONE. How da ya like them apples My research on the subject has shown that NO 66 Malibu SS's came with the 375hp and in fact, the only BB that was an option was the 360hp...not even the US version standard 325hp. NOW, that said....if one wanted a 325hp or 375hp for their canadian car, it would have to have been an "import" from US and the L-78 was not even available in US until mid Oct. 1965. That's about what I got to share.. and again, thanks for the thumbs up on the ole Mystery Chevelle pics! Mike |
