Default Pics of ole #51 today...some progress

Posting pictures is an adventure for me everytime. Here goes. The procharger is installed, plus a picture of the fuel cell. I also found out today GM only built about 40 sets of the .090 heads, which went to GM race teams, and they are not the same as the new 427 heads. The new Z06/LS7 heads are more "production friendly".

Believe it or not I've seen several catfish they have done and the SC fits real well. Our biggest problem was overcoming the extra 1" height of the intake. Had to cut the cowel under the windshield wipers. Plugs shouldn't be a problem because after we take it to the Super Car Reunion or wherever to get a few track times it just won't see many miles. I guess that's part of the price you pay for a solid roller and .750+ lift, no air ands stripes that scream "arrest me"!

Robbie or another experienced racer will pilot the car. I like to get to 60 maybe 80mph real fast. I like to stare at a beautiful engine and listen to it run. I don't care to get real cozy with danger. Call me gutless.
