-------Very cool car, but I imagine its not drawing the money a 409 should because its an "automatic". If this car was even a 340hp/4spd I think it would be up more towards the 50s. Thats assuming it is what the add says. If it was a 425hp maybe $70/80,000?............Bill S

If it's "not restored" then why does it sit so high, as if it had new springs? Nice colors though. Would make a fun cruiser.

Charley hit the nail on the head here. What a poor presentation of a fabulous car. I remember doing a tune up on a customers 4 speed 409 in about 1972. Of course I had to "road test" it after the tune, right? Absolutely no traction, so it was hard to know what its potential really was. Don't worry, I didn't abuse it, just checked it out. Still, I thougt it was a great car.

Guy got his reserve---the way it was described I thought the reserve might've been a little higher, but I was gettin a headache from squintin at the postage stamp size photos-------------

He got what it was woth IMO...340 horse is a slug...especially a powerglide.

It sure looked to me like he had hydraulics in the suspension....it looked like an unrestored SUV in those tiny pictures.
