Buy A Chevy,Get A Gun.
Back in 1985 you could buy a Chevrolet Truck with an outdoorsman package.
What came with the truck was a Winchester model XTR 1894 rifle 30-30 with scope,a gun rack and everything else you see in the bottom of the picture. Could you imagine if they tried to do this today.. Last edited by Mr70; 10-21-2018 at 02:42 AM.

Only back in the good "O" days!! I bought a 85 half ton 4x4 pickup new and never knew about that package. Mine was Midnight Blue with dual tanks and 4 spd. Wish I still had that truck...

I noticed in the commercial they don't seem to advertise the rifle too much. Just a brief showing of it.

85 Chevy...
I bought our 85 GMC Sierra brand new in October 1984...never heard of this option.
The gun case in the photo is a Gun Guard...very well made product. 1972-73 in high school we all had shotguns or rifles in our cars...but we were just going hunting. Drove to school everyday with a gun in the back of my father's Chevy wagon...today they would have a SWAT team, helicopters and all the major news outlets in the parking lot  How times have changed
