Default Obetz Zucchinifest

Ahh, Friday night in beautiful downtown Obetz Ohio.

Once known as a distant suburb of Greenup KY, this little hidden corner of the south end of Columbus is known now as the place where all of the men are strong, and all of the women have tattoos.
I have always wanted to go to this show, so here's some of what I saw. Just the cars, not the people.

Here's one that you don't see everyday.

Moving right along, here is a sweet '67 Camaro.

This one has the rare 327 SS option.

This one really is rare. A '55 Crown Vic with a tri-power set-up.

Another rare Ford, only this one is new.

Please help support breast cancer awareness.

Another nice Mustang, must well known for something.

Although the majority of '71 Chevelles seen today are red with black stripes, this one was very well presented.

How about a blue '66 Chevelle.

Next to a car I've always been fond of, an Impala SS convertable.

Lot's folks must have thought this was a car corral. There were at least 10 cars with "For Sale" signs. Sign of the times.

This is a really nice Mopar, but there was a rare Nascar Charger that I missed.

This is a car that I've lusted after, a big block '69 'vette, and a nice driver at that.

This is one of my favorite cars, a '71 GTO with air and a 4 spd.

This Boss 302 is right up there with it.

There were a lot of big Buicks, but not enough time to shoot all of them. The show started at 7pm, and the sun was a a bad angle by then. I also got sidetracked talking about cars.

Last one of the evening. See you at the SCR.

This show was/is laid out on a strip off the main road, about 50 yards wide by about 1/2 mile long. The zuchs were at the far end away from me, and well past where the cars were parked. Not enough time to do everything.
