Default Iraq deployment

A little update....my wife and I spent about 6 hours today seeing about 30 brave soldiers heading out to the desert for some Iraq training. The soldiers from the 228th National Guard Armory in Bethlehem, Pa. are going for their second and some even their third tour of duty in Iraq. Our son Pat is hooking up with another outfit in Western Pa. to help bolster the Philadelphia Striker Force Brigade. Pat is in the Signal Division and their seems not to be many in that field. Computer repair, communications and satellite set up. His duties will last from January 09 till around Sept. 09. He will have a leave of 10 days around Christmas. Not as bad as before. My family and I appreciate all the support this site gave before and hope all will continue prayers and thoughts for our men and women serving in the Military. It is truly a great thing to be an American and to live in a free country! Thanks, Sam

As I told you previously Sam, ever since you informed us all here of your boys first deployments, my kids still say prayers each and every night for them and all the troops fighting for freedom around the world..

Sam, great talking with you and Vera the other night. You and the family are always in our prayers. Both of you have raised some great young men.
