verify a 71 Motion vette

I'm looking at buying a 71 motion vette, all the right stuff is there, but I was told there was a list with known vins. (kept by Marty?) Would like to check this one against it before i pull the trigger, thx. I verified all the parts. Could be an early 70-80's well done LT1 cloned motion, but she feels right. Might not be in the registry as the current owner has had it forever. Need more info, help!! thx everyone.

Have you tried contacting Mr.Motion himself?
Joel Rosen has some records and details of the cars he modified.He charges a fee of $1500,which may seem hefty to some but it can really save you some time & grief in the long run.

How about a few pictures and details as many real and others have passed through here in recent years. Maybe the car is already known. Good Luck.

Thanks, but I don't own it, (yet) and descression is important to the seller. if and when I buy it I'll photo gallery it for everyone. soon i hope!

The seller might not want you telling people about it because it is a known fake. Just be careful on buying the car before it is verified. Why hasn't the seller had it verified ?

Good friend "real" older car from NY in NJ. found near Englishtown some years back, before these were thought to be important. He never verified it because years ago when he bought it he did not care,(he also has more money than god, and does not care) now the values of these cars force us to be more skeptical and persistant/diligent.
