Default This Crazy Internet thing

One of my mowers started throwing oil where it shouldn't be today. I figured I'd try to get the engine schematic on line.
Can you believe there is a web site for guys to talk about lawn mowers like we talk about cars!! Not just one, but several!! It was freaky enough when I learned there was a site for Buicks!!
What other weird sites are out there?

Thanks Algore

TV repair as well...

Our Mitsubishi big screen TV went out right before Christmas...and I searched the internet to see if anyone was having the same problems that I was having. I found out that there were a LOT of people with the same issues...

I got a quote from a TV repair service to repair (hopefully-no guarantees) my TV....for $1200 (TV was $2200 new?). After reading through a couple of the forums...I found a possible solution....so I tried it (I really had nothing to lose...LOL).

It worked!

The cost? 26 bucks and about 20 minutes of my time...

$5 for 14 capacitors
$6 to ship the capacitors
$10 for a soldering iron/solder removal tool
$5 for flux and solder

What a cool Christmas gift!

After reading through an appliance repair forum, I fixed our dryer myself.
