This car has been beat to death, not only is the L89 questionable, but outside the 70 COPO Deuce cars, a CBW rear was not available in a 70 production Nova either, 3:55 (CBT)was the lowest production rear available in 70. Suprised it doesn't have an "original" tri-power set up on it. Where's the pic of the engine stamp.? POP.?

I would think a car with so much history or value would have a better listing per say, Thats alot of money for a car on ebay, If it was the real deal a legit auction would be the source.... also some docs date codes picture of the block etc etc etc..... But on another note I have a Killer one of one only ever made 427cc vespa built by motion very very very rare wish I could keep her... please call Jenny at 867-5309 if Tommy answers he is a a$$

The black one in my opinion, isn't either. That makes none of any.

Also the black one restored by Legandary, and by the owners own addmission, has 074 heads on it Real or not I'll never get that.
That car has killer black paint on it too

The seller replied to my question "could you post pics of the POP, Dealer sheet, engine and trans stamps" with "you can arrange to view the car in person. I will not exploit myself to all the idiots on ebay. I hope you understand". Did he just call me an idiot?

I have a June 1970 test in Super Stock and Drag Iluustrated on a L34 Nova that they state has a 3:73 twice in the article. I have to disagree with 3:55 as the lowest gear you could order. I have attached a pic of a "CBU" 12 bolt that looks legit also That only Novas would have as 69 Camaros did not use the "C" according to my 62-76 Chevrolet parts books. I feel the Silver Nova which was in the Dupont Registry a couple years ago is not legit. The homemade dual snorkel is a joke. I was also wondering about the Black one Legendary restored. Did they restore 2 Black ones an L78 and a L89? because I believe I have seen both. One with aluminum heads and one without. and 2 different POPs. Just my 2 cents.

isn't there any door panel makers that can do them correctly? This one screams "repro" (overstuffed)

I know I'm being picky, but since you brought it up, when they figure out the door panels, maybe the arm rest bases and pads can also be done properly too. The only repop options are wider like the Chevelle and the pads are funky.

The one in that picture is not the correct original Nova part.
