I just read on the HAMB that the parking lot fiasco was due to the lack of Police participation. Sounds like they realized they screwed up, then they shut down Rte 47 for a while which backed up traffic for over 1/2 mile on I80 ramp.

Took me almost two hours to go 200 yards to get out of the parking lot.

Todays swapmeet was much better.
Not too cold.Prices were realistic, but Rt.6 had it's hiccups and eventually evened out.
Everythings for sale.

I went to the Pileup since I had never been before. I didn't realize how popular it was. It took an hour to get to the fairgrounds after coming to a stop on I80 before the exit ramp. When I got there, they had closed the parking lot so I parked along Rt. 47. That made for a quicker exit.
I'm not much of a rat rod enthusiast but it was interesting to see.

The Hunnert was intended to be a "Traditional Hot Rod" gathering but the recent influx of what you call Rat Rods and Art Cars have created a different feel for this type event. Seems it's more about Shock value for some of these folks; just seeing how far you can take it.

Lots of really cool Traditional rides there ; and some other stuff .
