Lowes Toys For Tots Cruise

Well, it couldn't rain ALL weekend!

Rain cancelled the Lowes Cruise on Friday night (3rd weekend in a row), and the actual Toys For Tots date on Saturday. But Sunday was such a beautiful day, we just HAD to come out.

Cruisers came a went all day. All told, about 50 cruisers stopped by to drop off toys. I hung out there for about 3 hours, long enough to hang out with (some) friends, take some pictures, eat at Taco Bell, and relax. A certain gold '70 Chevelle owner hung out with us for a little while, but had to leave early to go home and watch the Steelers. So his car is not pictured here.

A few other '69 Chevelle owners came and went before I could take pics, but they've been seen here before.

Local newspaper claims the fall colors are peaking. Doesn't matter to me, winter is coming.

This belongs to Jeff, the cruise coordinator. He found it in a garage covered in dust. The owner ran into financial trouble and needed to sell it.

Randy's Chevelle is getting new sheetmetal over the winter.

That's all for tonight. Hate to see cruising season end. Maybe if the weather cooperates here in Seattle, Maryland, we can squeeze in a few more cruise nights.

I am 100% positive that I have a 50% chance of getting to the Pavillions this coming Saturday! It's supposed to be in the mid 70's

I am 100% sure I want to go to the Pavilions while I'm there in Arizona. Should be March 31 - April 7, 2010.
