Default new camaro paint problems

ive noticed on every new camaro ive seen that the paint on the door does not really match up with the quarter panel.did anyone else notice this?there like that in pictures the showroom and outside so its not a lighting trick/if i bought one id have to have it repainted

I have seen that too but I don't believe it to be a fault or that the colors actually shift.

However it is an optical illusion, the quarterpanel meet the door at an angle making the light come in in two different angles. So the reflection of light, giving your eyes the color, have different reflection angles making the slight difference in hue you will see.

Try to look from above at the door gap and you will not see any difference.

Noticed the exact same mismatch on a silver one when we were going past it on the expressway a couple hours ago! Regardless of what the reason for it might be, I know I would not be a happy camper if I owned one. And I won't have to worry about ever owning one, because I really don't like them
