Here's one that was very visible back when. There was nothing like this ever seen on the street before.

Chris, I don't know if you rememeber, but a companion to that gold "Spyder" BM Vette was given away by WBAB here on LI back in the late 70's/early 80's. You had to enter the contest with your license plate #.! I rememeber it vividly because my
neighbor in Wantagh won it, James Ording. It was EXACT same car except it was multiple shades of Baby to Medium blue (same wheels and paint scheme.)I spoke to Marty Schorr about it and I beleive he said that there were 3 done and one was never accounted for (could be the WBAB car) Mr Ording kept for about 2 months and sold it, I am trying to track him down. I wonder if WBAB may have archived records of it?

I remember the RED companion car to that Corvette Spyder. I left Baldwin in 1981 for my world travels.

I will try to find info on that WBAB car though.

Chris, I am almost certain that WBAB Vette was a Motion car, It is absolutely identical in every detail to the gold Spyder car you posted a pic of, same wheels, paint scheme (diff colors) and it had a 454, 4spd in it. Let me know if you find anything out about it and I will do the same. SULLY
