Default 862 horn relay

When did 862 horn relays start showing up ? That's the one with the clear plastic base and key reminder. I know it was used through early 69.

Officially,1969 models saw the release of the #862...clear base w/metal tang.
1970 saw the release of the #890...black base w/metal tang.
1971 saw the release of the #889...black base w/plastic tang.
It wouldn't surprise me if some very early/late builds within those years came with the former/later.

My 07E 68 has it's born with 862....Then again it also has it's non accessory drilled 041 heads also. Lot's of new 69 stuff at the tail end of the 68 run. I think the question is when did they start in 68. If my 68 had it I'd bet all 69's started with them.
