Amazing letter from L78 Pace Car original owner
I thought some may enjoy hearing this story.
Last week I received a very….amazing letter from the original owner of the L78 Pace Car. Back in June I mailed some pictures of the Pace Car and a letter to the 80 year old original owner. I wanted to know any stories, information, anything he remembers about the Pace Car. I got a nice letter back from both he and his wife Shirlene. The letter had lots of very interesting info, a picture of their current perfect 67 BB Pace Car and a picture of the L78 taken in 1970 but…..no documents. Last week I get a letter from Shirlene with a note that said “I recently been throwing photos away and in one album I found this paper. Thought you would enjoy it”. <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">I’m really enjoying it.</span></span> I was surprised to see that the signature on the letter and the one on the dealer sales order are the same. So, I guess this was really Shirlene's L78 Pace Car. I’ve obscured some of the personal info and the last three of the vin. Previous Post on L78 Pace Car
