The people that know me here know i like my Chevelles.
I will post my Favourites i photographed at my first MCACN last week. I have many more photos but i will post what i liked the best. My best of show pick for the chevelle's was the first Black LS6 in that 8 car line up. It had the original interior and trunk on a partially restored 6000 mile beauty. Hey MCACN had no Triple Black LS6's, i may have to bring mine next year Also there was no 70 Challenger R/T S.E. in the house

These are the Survivors.
1965 Z16 396/375 hp and Dennis Cumby's 1970 Motor on his LS6. We have seen photos of Dennis's car before so i posted a lot of his motor. Hey Dennis, What is the Story/History behind the Broken Exhaust ear Tab??

Here is the Rarest 1970 Chevelle an L78/L89 Aluminum Head SS 396. They only built 18 of these rare cars!!
Also the other Chevelles that caught my eyes.

Not much of a 'story' Danny. We'd do almost anything to save a few ounces of front-end weight back then.
The manifold ear was cracked when I tool delivery in June of '70. Eventually it worked its way looser until I finally removed it and put it in the glove box. It was there for years and just recently went into hiding. (Maybe it'll turn up again someday. ) Just another case of the 'Quality Control' we experienced in the heyday of Muscle Cars.

Hey at least i caught you on Friday night! What a great Weekend i had Forgot to mention that i added a new scratch on your fender taking that photo Just kidding

There was one parked next to a green 69 Charger.. Not sure if this was the car corral or not.. I saw the passenger side of it in a picture that kwizz posted on another thread.. I was just curious about the car.. If it had a 540 twin turbo engine it is not the car I am thinking of.. Thanks...
Rich
