Default 57 Old's

I am in no way an Old's fan, but this one definitely caught my attention while I was at a local show in Lebanon, PA, I believe it's a 57, but not 100% sure.

I restored a 57 Olds 98 J2 tri-power cars several years ago after an engine fire. Neat car to say the least!

Probably the best looking Olds they ever built, ......... although the 54, 5 & 6 weren't bad either, ........ or the '49 come to think of it.

Aw Hell, I like 'em all!!!!!

-----The triple-window roof design was what always pulled me towards the 57 models, though. I liked it on both the Olds and the Buick but 57 Oldsmobiles were just better looking overall than the Buicks, IMHO......Bill S

Yeah, one of my 'too-many-to-count' dumba$$ moves was to 'pass' on buying a two-tone green '57 Buick Special 2 door post car sitting on a local lot about ten years ago.

Picture that car with some vintage TTs, lowered about two inches, with LS power, .............. on POWER TOUR BABY!!!!!!

I keep getting this mental image of Jerry VanDyke from "Coach" stomping across the floor repeating, "Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!!!!!"
Yep, dats me!

'57 Buick posts are cool! That's what I got in trade for the '64 Parklane I posted in the Ford/Merc section. The stance was perfect, but it was a low tech cut spring job and it didn't drive very well. I love '57 Buicks, wouldn't mind having another at some point.
