Looking for a little info on a 1969 GM Ignition Lock System / Visor Sleeve….
The one I have is an early version, dated 7-9-68, part number 3961388, and is 5” wide. I did a little internet surfing and can only find a 7” wide 1st edition version, dated the same but part number 3961387. Any ideas on what GM vehicles would have had this narrow version? ![]() ![]() Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Charlie

Check with Phil "Woj" on these. He may know. Here is a photo available to me now and is what is on my '69 Chevelle SS. I do not know if it is original or a repro. Do they reproduce these?

The blue covered sleeve with the arrow on it is an early edition, regardless of part number or application. I guess GM didn't think they included enough information on those the so they changed to a design with printed info on both sides.....
I believe they reproduce the "wider" 1st edition version and also the more typical 2nd edition sleeves, but I am not familiar with the more narrow 1st edition sleeve that I dug out of my stash of stuff. Don't know why GM would make two different versions of the 1st edition unless maybe they required a narrower version on a car with a smaller sunvisors? The Chevelle pic is cool with two sleeves on one visor (never seen that done before) - so you don't have to physically move the sunvisor to read the other side of the sleeve....
