I'm guessing this is just what happened with NOVA trim tags, but I was wondering why my trim tag is 11427, yet my VIN is 11327?
Thus, the trim tag denotes it's a V8, whereas the VIN denotes a V6. |

All trim tags show V8 11427. The VIN shows the nbr of cyls. 11427 V8, 11327 6 cyl, 11227 4 cyl. It doesn't show BB, or SB. Only V8.
