Default almost broke in !!

last week I took this photo of the Odometer at 450,000 miles. This is my 95 Silverado extended cab with 350 TBI engine, and 4L60E trans. The entire driveline is original up to this point. I had thought a while back about going to 500,000 miles then swapping in an LS engine but I may just see if I can go to a million... Not bad so far for an engine that I drive hard, tow and haul with and only change the oil every 25,000 miles

Here's the truck. The paint shows the miles more than the actual engine bay does.. I tend to keep it cleaner under the hood than the outside

Rich, that's all I use as well. I have been an Amsoil dealer for a couple of years now and I guess that's one reason I keep pushing the truck... It's great conversation for the product... I think i'll keep taking photos and maybe send a write up to Amsoils monthly magazine and see if they use it . They had an old Barracuda featured a while back with a ton of miles on it .

I remember the episode of Married With Children when Al Bundy were going to hit 1 million miles in his Dodge, they would give him a Viper.

So you might get a ZR1 Corvette when you hit a million.

I have a 95 GMC extended cab with the same drivetrain and 230,000 miles. Last Oct. the trans finly bit it, but I got a used 110k mile replacement for it. I am going to have the old one rebuilt and and beefed up. I also have a repalcement motor to drop in some time in the next 6 monts because the one in the truck is tired but still runs well. I am going to take the original motor and build it to ZZ4 specs and put all of the born with drivetrain back in though built a little.
