Default Swedish meeting

Every Wednesday night there is a car meeting in the small town where I live. The meeting is in the harbor and draws a big crowd every time. Around 5000 visitors come to see the old cars. It is arranged by the local historical auto club and every time has its own theme. One could be German cars, English cars, Italian and the first Wednesday of July it is for American cars. Limitation is that the car has to be in good shape and over 30 years old.

Here are some pictures I took tonight.

Lot of people and some cars.

This one is not a New York car...

Mine got some attention.

A Malibu 4-door hardtop, must be rare?

1961 Olds Bubbletop, must be even rarer?

Numbers matching unrestored 1968 Shelby GT500KR 428 CJ

Enjoy

Jannes,
You said you took the photos "tonight". So was it around 11PM or so, since the sun sets around midnight this time of year, up there?

No not that late, it was around 7PM. I am not that far north to get the midnight sun. But sun sets at about 9.30PM where I am and there is still light about two hours after sunset. Then dark for an hour or so.

You guys, I knew the blonds would get some attention.

But seriously, any comments on the 4-door hardtop Malibu?

Jan

I like it and the color..Very well done.Love the addition of the Cowl Induction hood, and the pillar missing between the 2 doors was always attractive.
