Default 40 years in a barn, original owner, yenko chevelle

I hope this hasn't been posted on here before!! Just trying to share a cool story!

That's right! I was blown away to say the least when I saw this car. A '69 Yenko Chevelle survivor pulled up to the Mid-America Chevelle regional show in Olathe, KS last week. The original owner still proudly driving his car. The car has been in the back of his barn for a long time, and after a few members of the club found out about it, they begged him to get it running and bring it to the show. Sure enough he was able to get the car in drivable condition and get the old 427 backed by a 4 speed to the show. Back in the '70's he said the sidepipes were added along with the wheels(his car originally came with rally wheels). The front emblem is missing because he took it off right after he bought it because he thought it made the car look cooler. Also the car was in a minor front end accident back then in which the hood had to be replaced or repainted, and the full Yenko stripe with the front triangle was not to be found, so he said just to leave it off. The car is actually very solid for sitting for so long. The rear quarters are rusty but the frame is solid as well as the floors.

I don't have many pictures on me as right now I'm actually at college and I left my camera and pictures at home, but hopefully I can get them soon for you all to see if you would like. Anyway here's what I have, hope you enjoy!
