Default Long shot, Info wanted, 69 Nova street machine

Going for a major long shot here but I am looking for information or whereabouts of a 1969 Nova that was running in Lincoln Nebraska in the 70's & 80's. I have been fortunate enough to find and talk to the original builder. He believes he sold it around 1982 to a gentleman named Rich McConnell (sp?) who worked at the Goodyear plant in Lincoln. Rich in turn sold it to a co-worker at Goodyear who had a twin brother also working there. The twin (non car owner) had a house fire/explosion in the 56 & Holdredge area. The car was sold again in the late 80's, possibly went to South Dakota.

The car was pearl white, white vinyl top. It was running a tunnel rammed 427. The front end had been converted to a straight axle, Cragar S/S wheels, flares on the rear quarters. The rearend had been converted to a spring over to get the lift. When the original builder sold the car he kept the 427. He said the car ultimately ended up with a small block last he heard.

I know this is a long shot. I posted an ad on Craigslist in Lincoln hoping to jar someones memory. The builder knows he used to have all the paperwork on the car (with a VIN) but he can not locate it and believes it may have been destroyed. I only have this one picture but he said the car was featured numerous times in magazines. He believed Popular Hot Rodding, March 1980? I am going to meet up with him in the next few weeks and will try and get more pictures of his pictures.
