Default Trying to find 1981 Trans Am

I know this is a long shot but I owned a 1981 Trans Am in the late 80s and have some paperwork that I would like to get to the car if it still exists. Two build sheets, Owners manual, Pontiac Consumer Info, Delco radio guide, Uniroyal replacement policy, Goodyear convenience spare info, GM maintenance schedule. If anyone can tell me if this car is still alive I will get this paperwork to the current owner. VIN is 1G2AW87H6BL144431. A little info on it: dark blue w/doeskin interior, t-tops, 305/4 speed.

Thats how I got all the paperwork on my hem charger. John Ehnat (K Code Mustang from this forum), found it in 1990 at the original dealership where he worked, hunted me down and sent it to me. Another super great carguy.

When I went through the file room that day, I was amazed at the amount of paperwork that was still there. Every single car/folder that was sold was still there. In addition to the Hemi Charger folder, I found dozens of R/T's, big block Chargers, Challengers, T/A Challengers and so on. I wish I could have reunited more people with their files. The look on my dads face when he saw the Charger in Muscle car review the first time was priceless...he told me stories for hours abouts that car. I am very happy to hear you were able to pass along paperwork...pay it foward is what this hobby is about.
