Default Big Block Nova Finishing Details

I was looking at a car listed on eBay - not a great car but a decent big block Nova with what is claimed to be numbers matching and 54k original miles.

I was shocked to see the finishing details - talk about ruining what could be a good car. Could they have found a bigger set of bolts and why not just chrome plate them to stand out more?

That is an easy fix, and another reason to cut'em off at the knees on price.

The mustang I just finished was the same way...basically had to replace all bolts/nuts, metric here and there, a lot of work. GTO I'm working on now looks like they "cut to fit" caddy door panels......pretty funny...
