Todd, Check out this thread. On pages 8 & 9 I post some of my Brigance Chevrolet memorabilia. In those pictures is a postcard that shows what the dealership looked like.

First off thanks for the info. I seen that Mr.ED left Brigance sometime in 1970 the sticker on the drivers door with vin. says 5/70 I was wondering if Mr.ED was there maybe is that a question that cant be answered. But he was incharge of hiperformance orders correct ? The car is a forest green ls6 with original build sheet that says Brigance on it zone 11 dealer 071. Is there any way that I could see a better picture of the post card dealer picture? Is the building still up and still there in Oak Park?THanks

Todd, Mr. Ed left Brigance in June 1970 after he was hired as a sales manager at Fencl Tufo Chevrolet. I am not sure if he was in charge of hi-performance orders solely since the store had a new car manager, but the possibility could exist that he ordered the car for one of his customers before leaving the dealership. I would not count on him remembering a specific car as he sold hundreds during his tenure at Brigance.

As far as a close up of the postcard, in the second thread I posted there is a scan attached to a post on the bottom of the third page. Sometimes my third page is not your third page depending how you have your preferences set, so it is post # 51930 in that thread. Oh, and the dealership is long gone. Oak Park real estate is and continues to be a hot commodity.
