Default Champagne 69 Z

A friend of mine has found a 69 Z that is Champagne in color. Car needs restored and is missing the heads and intake. It is a 65 or 66 thousand mile car. He called me today and we were discussing the car. Some guy has told him that this car is a 1 of 1 car because Chevy would not build a solid Champagne 69, it had to be a 2 tone or be equipped with a vinyl top, guy says he tried to order one new and they would not let him. I am blowing the bulls--t horn on that. Have any of you guys ever seen a Champagne 69 Z?

I don't know the VIN. I haven't seen the car myself. Was your car a solid paint scheme?

I looked all over for a champagne Z for the 69 Z Showcase years back. Impossible to find then.

Not a z28 but my father in law ordered a 69ss396 chevelle champagne new 63/63 with black interior. Traded in 71 for a new 442in North East Ohio, wish I had the money back then to buy it,never seen it again.

No color required a vinyl top.

The CRG db has approximately 8 63-63 1969 Camaros; this is the only known Z/28. There are 11 63-B cars one of which is a Z/28. There are also 2 63-F cars. There was a 2-tone combo 61-63, 3 in the db.

Without access to build configuration for all 20,302 Z/28s nobody can claim "one of one."

I was just at the GTO Nats and saw a Champagne Goat. I think it's gotta be one of the rarest colors for that car.
