Default ? about Pavillions cruise in

Hey guys, particularly the bunch in Arizona. Have a co-worker headed to Phoenix today and I told him to check out the Pavillions cruise in. I haven't seen any posts or pics lately and wondered if this is still going. I told him the level of cars there is off the chart. thanks for any and all replys and I wiil pass them on to him. Any other cruise in's that you recommend would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Dave,

Yes, the Pavilions Cruise is still going on. Happens every Saturday afternoon/evening year round.

This is monsoon season here in the valley, and our afternoon temps regularly exceed 100*. Bruce (xplantdad) and I regularly drive 36 miles to this cruise, but not when it is so hot out. That is why we haven't posted many photos lately. Besides, his Buick has AC, but my Chevelle does not.

I think Saturday's forecasted high is 109*!

Attendance is not as large now as it usually is the other three seasons. Come late September, the temps will start to moderate and the attendance will increase. And the photos will be posted again.

He can check out http://www.cruisinarizona.com/ for other area cruises and shows. If he is in the west valley, Bruce and I usually head over to the Mixteca Cruise this time of the year at 67th Ave and Bell Road.

You might encounter some die-hards there this time of year, but it's mainly a younger crowd with newer cars, bikes, etc.

lol @ Shaun!

Bob, if you see Bruce's red Buick, I am usually parked next to him in either my blue '12 Camaro or my silver '69. We saw your Road Runner, but not you. Looked great as usual!

Bill, I heard through the wind the police actually chased everyone out of the Pavilions at least once this summer. Never happened when WE were there.
