Default Vega transporting

Did they do this in the USA? Any other cars shipped this way?

Pretty cool way but did they put fluids in afterward?

the only other cars that got shipped this way were the 1967 nova's. That is why all their radiators leaked from new.

I don't think that was true on the Novas.

Vegas were designed for that shipping, called Vert-a-Pak, IIRC. Including battery vents and carb vents.
JohnZ was there and helped empty the building and prep it for the Vega.

I love these pics for the great sampling of the car colors.

There is an urban legend that says a train derailed carrying a load of Vegas, and they brought in equipment and buried everything by the tracks.
