There's an orange/black ’72 W30 442 (item 111238379286) on ebay that is a true W30. I looked at it, drove it, and liked it, but I couldn't get past the bench seat and column shift. I thought about making the change to buckets and console if I bought it, but that was just too expensive.

The 442 you’re looking at looks nice and the price seems right, but it too has bench and column shift. It just was hard to accept this on a Muscle car. Can you live with the bench and column shift?

The orange W30 is still on ebay, it's here in Austin. I don't know the seller, but I did look at it and its a decent car with the original motor. It has it's issues such as a tired motor and a shift kit that rattles your teeth when it hits the next gear. Paint is decent. He really wants to sell. The speedo needs to be changed with a floor shifter since the gear is called out in the speedo. I like an automatic W30. The one your looking at is a 350, so they most likely added the fiberglass hood. Make sure it's a good version of that hood.
