Strickler/Jenkins Supercar Clinics?

In the January 1969 issue of <span style="font-style: italic">Drag Racing</span> magazine, there is an article on "The Supercar Clinic Craze." Included is a story how Dave Strickler lined up 11 dealers in NY/NJ/PA to run clinics, with the idea to expand to other states following the racers' NHRA schedule.

My question is this: Did this clinic ever get off the ground?

Here is a patch that was from the clinics. This one was from the Strickler collection and signed by Bill. I would have loved to meet Dave, and glad I had the pleasure to meet Bill.

Somewhere, oh where is it hiding, I have a hand out from when Strickler and Jenkins were at Mishawaka Gates. It will turn up sooner or later I guess.
